We receive thousands of calls and emails annually and respond to every single report of suspected animal abuse, cruelty, torture and neglect. Yet despite our efforts and work, there is more work to do. We need your help, and the animals in Minnesota need your help.
We want to expand our network of state humane agents in all 87 Minnesota counties. In 2021, we have agents in 35 counties, leaving 52 counties and law enforcement in those counties in need of assistance to investigate cases of animal abuse and cruelty and to hold those responsible for these crimes accountable.
For every person who joins our team as a state humane agent, we invest in their training through the National Animal Care and Control Association. We offer ongoing training and support so our state humane agents are fully trained and able to investigate all cases of animal abuse and cruelty. We provide investigative field kits, uniforms and badges for each agent. Each state humane agent requires an investment of $1,000. We need at least 52 more agents to protect animals throughout the state. Any help you can provide will bring us closer to raising the $52,000 we need to fully train and equip our network of humane agents. You can also donate through our
